EDMS opened for business over thirty years ago in a two room office in Eugene, Oregon as a mail receiving station, renting P.O. boxes.
As time went on, there were requests from local businesses to have their daily outgoing First Class mail handled for them. EDMS began picking up daily business mail and processing it, eventually having enough volume to co-mingle and presort for postage discounts. Thus, the “Daily Presort Program” was established.
As mail volume increased and presorted standard (bulk) mail processing was added, the company outgrew the small space and moved into larger quarters. Several moves later have us in a 12,000 square foot facility with enough space to handle daily presort, variable data processing and marketing mailings. In 2009, EDMS acquired the well respected Postal Connection Company. This further expanded our customer base.
Through continued investments in the most automated mailing equipment in the industry and a focus on customer service, EDMS has garnered a nationwide client base. With several hundred current clients, EDMS is now the largest customer of the Eugene/Springfield post office.
