Eugene Direct Mail Service (EDMS) began over 40 years ago in a modest two-room office in Eugene, Oregon, initially serving as a mail receiving station renting out P.O. boxes. Since 1980, EDMS Inc. has evolved into a comprehensive provider of commercial printing, professional mailing services, and direct mail advertising.
As demand grew, local businesses began asking for help with their outgoing First Class mail. EDMS responded by launching a daily pickup service — handling, processing, and eventually presorting mail to help clients secure postage discounts. This proactive approach led to the creation of our signature Daily Presort Program.
With the addition of bulk mail and standard presort services, EDMS quickly outgrew its original space. Today, the company operates from a 12,000 square foot facility equipped to manage daily presort, variable data processing, and high-volume marketing mailings. In 2009, EDMS expanded further by acquiring the well-respected Postal Connection Company, extending both capabilities and client base.
EDMS Inc., now based in Springfield, Oregon, serves clients throughout Oregon and across the United States. The company provides full-service commercial printing for brochures, postcards, flyers, and catalogs. They also offer turnkey mailing services, including address list processing, presorting, barcoding, and USPS delivery. Additionally, they design targeted direct mail marketing campaigns to help businesses connect effectively with their audiences.
Thanks to continued investment in state-of-the-art automation and an unwavering commitment to customer service, EDMS has grown to serve clients nationwide. With several hundred active accounts, EDMS serves businesses of all sizes and also offers special rates for non-profit organizations. EDMS is proud to be the largest customer of the Eugene/Springfield post office — and a trusted mailing partner for businesses across the country.
